Aspect : superb dark, blood red colour. 

Odour : the truffle nose amplifies and evolves toward a delicate and harmonious complexity when swirled (Ch. B.) giving off an aroma of ripe red fruits (M. R.) of meat and a woody blend (Ch. B.).

Taste : the supple and full attack is confirmed by an intense evolution sustained by a harmonious, expressive structure and an important, persisting, quality aroma (M. R.). The tastes that develop after swallowing are pleasant and powerful, characteristic of an excellent balance (Ch. B.), with silky tannins (M. R.).

Judgement : a powerful wine, remarkably harmonious... it is a great pleasure today and will be so tomorrow (M. R); beautiful wine that remains nevertheless an easy, accessible one (Ch. B.)
